Explosion in Moghbazar, several pedestrians injured
4 people, including an engineer, were injured in an explosion at Moghbazar Wireless intersection in the capital. The injured were rescued and taken to Dhakna Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital.

This incident happened on Tuesday (January 24) around 9:30 in the morning. The injured are - Engineer Saiful Islam (36), DPDC worker Md. Tarek (20), Md. Shaheen (30) and Abul Kalam (25).

Injured Saiful Islam said that his house is in Basabo. He is responsible for the engineer of Agrani Apartments in Moghbazar. Go to Moghbazar Wireless Gate from home by bus in the morning to office. There was a loud explosion while walking past the bright hotel. Then he fell on the road. He could not tell how the explosion happened.

In this regard, Ramna Police Station OC Abul Hasan said that the explosion occurred from a plastic drum in front of a pharmacy at Wireless Junction. Efforts are underway to gather evidence and find the cause of the explosion.
DMK Hospital Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia said that 4 people were injured in different parts of the body in the explosion. Police are investigating how the explosion happened.
