Shots fired in front of Gloria Jeans Cafe in the capital's Gulshan

A shooting incident took place in front of a restaurant named Gloria Jeans Coffees Bangladesh at Gulshan 1 of the capital based on money transactions. One person was shot in this incident. After receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot and arrested two people. This incident happened on Sunday (January 15) around 4 pm.

The Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan Division confirmed the matter. A. Ahad told Dhaka Post that the shooting happened in front of Gloria Jeans restaurant around 4 pm. One shot the other. We have taken the two involved in this incident into custody. Validity of their firearms, name and identity are being verified. Initially, it was reported that the incident of gunfire started around the transaction of money. Details will be informed later, said A. Ahad

It is known that the name of the injured person is Aminul. And the one who shot is Ahidul. Police arrested both of them. However, the person named Aminul was taken to the hospital as he was shot, said Shahidul Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Gulshan Police Station.
