The hilly district of Bandarban has become full of tourists for three consecutive days of vacation. Friday and Saturday (December 23 and 24) are added to the Christmas holiday weekend.

And after a long time on that holiday, hotels-motels and entertainment centers of Bandarban have crowded with tourists. Meanwhile, tourist police members are working to ensure the overall safety of tourists.
The mood of winter and also the three consecutive days of vacation, Meghla, Nilachal, Shailprapat, Chimbuk, Nilgiri, Nafakum, Tamatungi and other tourist spots of the district are now full of tourists. Countless tourists are running at every spot from morning to evening. The lovers of the structure are fascinated by the beautiful form of mountains, rivers and springs.

Bandarban's best tourist center Nilachal came to visit from Dhaka, got three consecutive days off and came to visit Bandarban. Bandarban is one of the best districts to visit for nature lovers.

Meanwhile, since October 10, joint anti-terror operations have been launched in the hilly areas bordering Ruma-Roangchhari, Thanchi and Alikadam Police Stations of Bandarban District. Along with this, considering the security of tourists, the district administration has issued several restrictions on travel to some upazilas of Bandarban from October 18. As a result, tourists are still not able to travel to Ruma and Rowanchari police stations in Bandarban.

However, after a long time due to continuous holidays, the hotels and motels of the district have been filled to the brim due to the arrival of a large number of tourists to the various sightseeing places of the remaining 5 upazilas. Along with that, the tourism related businessmen are happy because the tourist cars are also rented.

President of Bandarban Microbus-Jeep-Pickup Owners Association said, the presence of large number of tourists in the district after a long time has brought us comfort. Last year due to corona we were in enough loss. Again this year, our business was about to be closed due to the ban in some police stations of Bandarban from the administration. But Bandarban has a lot of tourists these days because of the closure. They are happy to visit Bandarban, and we are just as happy to drive them to various tourist spots.

President of District Restaurant Owners Association. Giyas Uddin Master told BanglaNews that around 5,000 people visit Bandarban daily during the tourist season. Meanwhile, extra precautions have been taken by the police to provide security to the tourists visiting Bandarban, said Additional Superintendent of Tourist Police Bandarban Zone Md. Naqibul Islam.

Bandarban is the safest and best place for tourists in Bangladesh. Tourist policemen are regularly patrolling most of the tourist centers to ensure that tourists can travel safely in Bandarban. Plainclothes and uniformed tourist policemen are stationed around most tourist centers to ensure that no tourists are exposed to danger.
