One arrested with heroin in Manikganj

The detective police arrested a young man named Tanvir Hossain Ami (25) with heroin in the Char Hijuli area of Sadar Upazila of Manikganj. At that time, 50 grams of heroin was found with him.

Special anti-narcotics operation

• In the notification, Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain said that the district intelligence police conducted a special anti-narcotics operation. Tanveer Hossain Ami was arrested with 50 grams of heroin at Kali Mor area of Char Hijuli of Sadar Upazila around 11:15 pm on Saturday. The market value of seized heroin is Tk 5 lakh. In this regard, Manikganj Sadar Police Station is in process of legal action.

He also said that several cases are pending in the court against the detained accused.
