The accident happened on Tuesday (January 31) around 9:30 am. The burn victims have been admitted to Dhaka's Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
The accident took place on Tuesday (January 31) at 10 am. The injured are Golap (29), Fazal Mia (60), Shafiuddin (59), Mozammel (50) and Nazmul (25).

- Resident surgeon of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Dr. SM Ayub Hossain told Dhaka Post that five people who were burnt in the fire at Padma Oil Depot in Siddhirganj area of Narayanganj have come here. They are undergoing treatment in the emergency department. The percentage of their bodies burned is yet to be determined. Doctors are looking at them, details will be given later.

On receiving the information, three units of Adamji Fire Service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Fakhruddin Ahmed, Deputy Assistant Director of Narayanganj Fire Service, said that three units of Adamji Fire Service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. It is believed that the fire happened due to short circuit. The amount of damage can be said subject to investigation.
