The bodies of two Ansar members were found inside a bank in Narsingdi

Police recovered the bodies of two Ansar members from Agrani Bank of Raipura police station in Narsingdi.

The incident took place at Agrani Bank Radhaganj branch in Radhaganj Union of the upazila on Wednesday (January 18) morning. The deceased were Ansar members Ranju Mia alias Ranjan (32) and Tauhid Ahmed (24) working in the bank.

Locals said that the bank authorities came to the bank early in the morning and found the bank gate blocked from inside. After calling for a long time and getting no response, the police came and broke the door at around 11:30 a.m. and found the dead bodies of the two security guards of the bank.

Initially the field officer of the bank Kamruzzaman said that the sweeper nanny came to clear the bank like every day. He saw the opening of the best gate of the bank and did not get any response from Ansar. Later Nayan Mia informed the police and they came and recovered the body.

Meanwhile, the police is yet to tell the main reason behind the incident of the deceased. Senior police officials have arrived at the spot. No one including journalists is allowed inside the bank.

It is assumed that the details will be given by the police after the interrogation. But the bank authorities said that the overall situation including the money collected in the bank is normal.

The police believe that they may have committed suicide by drinking poison.
