Rupsa train collided with Mithali Express at Nilphamari

A collision between the light engine of Mithali Express and the Rupsa Express train bound for Khulna took place at Domar in Nilphamari. The accident took place at Chilahati railway station on Wednesday morning. However, no casualties were reported until recently.

According to local sources, Khulna-bound Rupsa Express left the Chilahati point and came a little ahead of the Mithali Express train's light engine.

Confirming the matter, Chilahati Fire Service Leader Nur Alam Siddiqui said that two units are conducting rescue work at the spot.
