Prime Minister inaugurated Kalshi flyover

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced the official inauguration of the 2.34 km long Kalshi flyover in Mirpur, Dhaka.

The government hopes that through this flyover, communication between Mirpur and Banani, Uttara and the eastern part of the capital will be easier.

• Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the road widening and development work from Kalshi Flyover and ECB Chatter to Mirpur in a ceremony at Kalshi Balur field on Sunday morning. Minister of local government. The 2.34 km long four-lane flyover has three ramps from ECB Chatter towards Kalshi and Mirpur DOHS. The flyover can be boarded from the Mirpur DOHS end and the end towards ECB Square. There is only alighting through the Kalshi Road end.

The widened road under the flyover is 3.7 km long, starting from ECB premises in Matikata area and running from Kalshi Mor to Mirpur DOHS.

The project was jointly implemented by Bangladesh Army's 24 Engineering Brigade and DNCC. 1 thousand 12 crore 11 lakh taka has been spent on its implementation.
