Revised ADP approval of Tk 2 lakh 27 thousand crores

At the end of the meeting, the Minister of State for Planning. Shamsul Alam said, "Tk 2 lakh 27 thousand crores have been approved in the revised ADP. Own funding is not reduced in the revised ADP for the current fiscal year 2022-23. 1 lakh 53 thousand 66 crores of own financing in ADP remains unchanged. However, 18 and a half thousand crore rupees are being allocated less than foreign aid. The amount of foreign aid in the revised ADP will stand at 74,500 crores. At present there are 1 thousand 363 projects in ADP.
As a result of the amendment, the size of ADP is reduced by Tk 18,500 crore. This year, 2 lakh 46 thousand crore rupees were allocated to ADP in favor of development projects.
In this year's ADP, 39 thousand 563 crore rupees have been allocated for local government department, 29 thousand 897 crore rupees for road transport and highways department, 25 thousand 247 crore rupees for electricity department, 12 thousand 596 crore rupees for ministry of railways, 12 thousand rupees for ministry of science and technology. Tk 243 crore, Tk 11 thousand 332 crore for the Ministry of Water Resources, Tk 9 thousand 781 crore for the Health Care Department, Tk 7 thousand 785 crore for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Tk 7 thousand 218 crore for the Secondary and Higher Education Department, Tk 7 thousand for the Bridge Department 67 crores have been allocated.
