Pickup overturned in Tangail, 3 killed including woman

The accident took place at Analiabari area of Kalihati around 1 pm on Wednesday (March 1).

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Setu East Police Station. Shafiqul Islam confirmed this. He said that 30 people were going to Sirajganj Enayetpur from Jamalpur. Their pickup fell into a ditch when it reached Analiabari No. 10 Bridge. Three people died on the spot. Among the dead is a woman. However, no one has been identified yet.

He also said that 15 injured people have been admitted to the hospital. The three bodies will be handed over to their families after the legal process.
