The Prime Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of Bida

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the newly constructed 'Investment Building' of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). He also inaugurated the two-day revenue conference.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the building built at Agargaon in the capital on Sunday at 10 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came to Agargaon to inaugurate the building in the morning. After inaugurating the Swiss Press Building, the Prime Minister participated in the prayer.

• Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman presided over the opening ceremony, where Bidder's chairman and officials are present. The offices of the three investment authorities have been housed in the same building to provide greater investment services. The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) building houses the Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) and National Skills Development Authority (NSD) offices.

After inaugurating the building, he inaugurated the two-day revenue conference organized at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. To accelerate domestic and foreign investment, a 12-storey Bida building has been constructed on an acre of land at a cost of Tk 198 crore. A total of three seminars will be held in the conference on Value Added Tax (VAT), Customs and Income Tax. There will be separate information centers on these issues during the conference. People can learn more about VAT, customs and income tax from these centers.
