Rescue team of fire service arrived in Turkey

Shahjahan Shikder said, the rescue team of 12 members of the fire service arrived at Adana airport in the morning local time after a 24-hour flight journey with the army rescue team for search and rescue work in the terrible earthquake in Turkey. From there they left by bus to Adiaman, 350 km away.

A rescue team of 60 people, including 12 people from the fire service, left for Turkey on a C-130 plane last Wednesday (February 8) night.
According to the fire service, the rescue team members from the fire service and civil defense are internationally trained in conducting search and rescue operations in collapsed buildings as per International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) standards.
