April 20 train tickets available today
April 20 tickets will be issued today on the fourth day of advance train ticket sales. As April 20 is a Thursday, the demand for tickets is higher today than the previous days.
Railway authorities said that because of the huge demand for April 19 tickets, not everyone got the tickets due to extra pressure. The advance sale of Eid tickets has started from Friday (April 7). Tickets for the 17th sold out within minutes of the first day of ticket sales. But Saturday (April 8) was not seen like that. On this day, the ticket aspirants could not enter online in time. So the passengers could not buy tickets on time.
Railways sold a total of 28,000 tickets including 3 special tickets on Sunday. Tickets for April 21 will go on sale on Monday, April 20 and Tuesday (April 11). It is reported that 18 thousand 500 tickets were sold on April 7, 25 thousand 200 on April 8 and 24 thousand 500 on April 9. A little over 27,000 tickets will be sold today.
This year's advance ticket sale will end with the sale of tickets on April 21. So tomorrow there will be several times more pressure.
As Eid will be on April 22, tickets for April 20 are being sold today on Monday. Naturally, it will be more difficult to get tickets today than the last three days.
As per the rules, ticket sales start at 8 am. It is reported that the tickets for the trains in North Bengal, Mymensingh and other regions of Jejub are in high demand and are sold out within a minute.
The railway authorities said that around 11 lakh clicks were received on the server at exactly 8 o'clock. Within the first five minutes, it became about 1.5 million. And within an hour the number of clicks exceeded 55 lakhs. Among these, the ticket pressure for longer distance destinations is higher.
According to the Ministry of Railways, on the occasion of Eid, inter-country Mithali Express train will be suspended from April 18 to 27 and Maitri Express train from April 20 to 27. However, inter-country Bandhan Express trains will run as usual.
On the other hand, although advance ticket sales of buses are going on, there is not much crowd at the counter
