People Have Concrete Fear: Amir Khosrow

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury commented that Awami League is failing to attract people with its unique political program. He said, "BNP's movement for democracy cannot be stopped with a counter program."

Nationalist Textile Engineers Association of Bangladesh (JTEB) organized this rally in front of the National Press Club.

Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that the government is continuing with false cases, disappearance cases, arrests and killings due to the fear of the people. BNP is trying to obstruct the peaceful program. But BNP is not moving away from the peaceful program. The more peaceful the program is, the more people are taking to the streets and the more their (the government's) fear level increases.

Khosru said, "Awami League is protecting people's wealth." Awami League's political tyranny has reached such a point that they are failing to attract the people with a distinct political program. Failing, they are trying to obstruct the program of BNP.

Mentioning that BNP's program should not be obstructed, he further said, 'Lakhs of people have proved that the mass tide of people cannot be stopped by shooting, killing, arresting, false and missing cases. It has been proved in the divisional assembly of BNP. The government could not stop lakhs of people by striking transport, filing cases of absenteeism, arresting, killing. There is no chance to do it in the future.
