Member of Parliament Moslem Uddin passed away to the land of no return
Member of Parliament of Chittagong-8 (Chandgaon-Boalkhali) Constituency and president of Chittagong South District Awami League, brave freedom fighter Moshalem Uddin Ahmad has crossed over to the land of no return. He was 75 years old.

Moshalem Uddin Ahmed died on Sunday (February 5) at 12:38 PM while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He was suffering from cancer for a long time.
He was 75 years old. At the time of his death, Moslem Uddin Ahmad left behind numerous relatives and well-wishers including his wife and four daughters.
Member of Parliament
- He lost two elections to the National Assembly from Chittagong-12 (Patia) constituency. Moshalem Uddin Ahmed was elected MP on January 13, 2020 in the by-election of Chittagong-8 Constituency which became vacant after the death of Member of Parliament of Boalkhali Constituency Mainuddin Khan Badal.
Since 2013, Moslem Uddin has been serving as the president of Chittagong South District Branch of Bangladesh Awami League. Before that, he was the General Secretary of Chittagong South District Awami League for a long time. Moshalem Uddin was elected Member of Parliament for Chittagong-8 Constituency in the 13 January 2020 by-election.
