Another 7500 teacher recruitment circulars are coming in primary schools

In the new year, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education is preparing to release a new notification for the post of primary assistant teachers. About 7,000 vacant posts of assistant teachers will be appointed.

• According to DPE sources, a letter has already been sent to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education seeking approval to issue a notification for the recruitment of teachers in government primary schools. After receiving the approval of the Ministry, the recruitment circular will be published very soon.

However, the ministry has planned to recruit about 100,000 assistant teachers by the year 2025. For this, notification may be published in several stages. Recently, the secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Farid Ahmed, gave this information.

He said, we are collecting information about vacant posts in primary schools. Haven't got all the info yet. Once we get the information, we will publish the new recruitment circular again.

• Farid Ahmed said, we have undertaken a plan for this. According to this plan, we will employ one lakh teachers by 2025. This recruitment will be done in several stages.

The secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that the notification for the appointment of about 7 thousand assistant teachers will be given in this February. This notification is in progress.

It should be noted that on October 20, 2020, the Directorate of Primary Education published a notification for the recruitment of 32 thousand 577 vacant posts of assistant teachers. 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied for it. Although 32 thousand 577 posts were mentioned, 5 thousand more were added and the results were published.

The written and oral examination for the recruitment is conducted in three phases but the final result is published only once. 40 thousand 862 people passed the first phase written exam, 53 thousand 595 people passed the second phase and 57 thousand 368 people passed the third phase.

Candidates from the three hill districts of Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban were given the opportunity to apply. The application fee was Rs.110. A total of 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied.
