Husband's death sentence reduced to life for killing his wife

The High Court reduced the sentence of Abdul Jalil, who was sentenced to death by the judicial court for killing his wife Malti Begum in Barguna in 2003, to life imprisonment.

Justice Sahidul Karim and Justice Md dismissed the death reference and rejected the accused's appeal for approving the death sentence. Mostafizur Rahman's High Court bench gave the verdict.
