Obaidul Quader said, our per capita income is more than two and a half thousand dollars and will reach four thousand dollars in 2026. Bangladesh is still dealing with the situation. It is becoming possible for a leader. She is Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who transforms crisis into possibility. He is the icon of Bangladesh. He gave free vaccinations during the Corona crisis.

He said, the response to the new crisis created in the world after Corona has come to our lives. We are in danger, it is true. We have to increase the price of fuel today. Today there is a gas crisis. The price of goods has increased. Common, low and low income people are suffering. There is no doubt about it. Still, the situation in Bangladesh is still stable due to the prudent and visionary leadership of our leader. We are going to turn crisis into possibility. Our reserves will increase further, I can see that. Export income is steadily increasing. Our per capita income and GDP will increase - the economy is showing signs of this.

Regarding the election, the minister said, another challenge for us is the next election. The Election Commission has given a glimpse that it will be in January next year. The Prime Minister gave instructions yesterday (Thursday) while addressing the MPs regarding the preparations for that election. We follow his instructions. At the same time we are dealing with the movement of opposition parties.

Obaidul Quader said, today there is a crisis in many countries of the world. There is also a reaction among people about this. A record-breaking crisis in Europe. Crisis in America. There are many things about the government, there are also criticisms. But the president did not demand Biden's resignation. But in our country, the resignation of the government and elections are demanded. At the same time a caretaker government was demanded. There is no caretaker government anywhere in the world except Pakistan.

He said, I will not say that our democracy is flawless. Our democracy is in a developing stage. We will correct the mistakes and work to institutionalize the development process. It cannot be changed overnight. 21 years after the assassination of Bangabandhu, there was no democracy in this country. Democracy was disciplined. Sheikh Hasina returned to the country and first united the nation and unchained the democracy. War criminals have been tried because of Sheikh Hasina's misadventure. Bangabandhu's murder and district murder have been tried. He has made these impossible tasks possible.

Awami League General Secretary said that the World Bank left with slander. Sheikh Hasina announced in the parliament that the Padma bridge will be built with the country's money and it has been done. On this Padma Bridge we are getting 2 crore ten to 15 lakh taka toll every day. Then there was the Metrorail. People of different ages from different parts of the country are coming to see it. Tunneling under Karnaphuli River in Chittagong. Which is nowhere in South Asia. When I first visited the area, I didn't think anything like this could happen. Like Shanghai, Chittagong is one city to town. 10 thousand 344 crore rupees are being spent on this tunnel. Work progress is 95.5 percent. Cox's Bazar will come closer because of the tunnel.

The minister said, Chittagong will go further. Chittagong is the pulse of our life, the pulse of economy. The heart of our economy. We recognize Chittagong's contribution to the national economy. Once the tunnel is completed, magical changes will come in Chittagong.
