Today Sunday (January 29) activists from various districts and upazilas of Rajshahi division are coming to the Prime Minister's meeting with a procession.
The leaders said that they will join the rally before noon. Meanwhile, around eight thousand workers from Sandwip have already reached Chittagong after crossing the sea to join the rally.

- It is known that activists from different districts of the division are coming to Rajshahi by train or bus. They came down from Rajshahi railway station bus terminal and proceeded towards the rally venue with banner festoons. As the leaders and activists come together, the march is being formed piecemeal. The banner festoons of the procession depicted various developments of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Leaders and activists have been going to the meeting place with processions since morning, giving slogans. Posters and banners are in hand. In the public meeting, the prime minister will make important announcements about the development of Rajshahi and ask for votes from the people to make the Awami League victorious in the next election. At the same time, he will lay the foundation stone of 32 developmental works.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy said, 'There is a tight security around the Prime Minister's public meeting. Seven and a half thousand policemen are deployed in and around Jansabha. All kinds of preparations have been completed around the public meeting.
Krishnapad Roy said that 100 CC cameras have been installed in the polo ground and surrounding areas for the security of the public meeting. He said, 'There is no threat about the Prime Minister's public meeting. However, 100 CCTV cameras have been installed to ensure overall security.
