DU is again making big changes in the admission test

According to the decision, from the academic year 2022-2023, the admission test for the 1st year Bachelor (Honours) class will be conducted by the reorganized 4 units. The restructured 4 units of the entrance examination are: 1) Arts, Law and Social Science Unit 2) Science Unit 3) Business Education Unit and 4) Fine Arts Unit. On the other hand, on February 16, 2022, as a decision of the admission committee of the university, the university informed that the students seeking admission in the science and business studies unit will have the opportunity to participate in the admission test in the 'Arts, Law and Social Sciences' unit to change the department/unit.

Apart from this, the students of humanities stream can take admission test of 'Arts, Law and Social Science' unit along with Mathematics/Statistics or Economics/Accounting or any subject with prerequisites for admission in Science or Commerce. At the same time, the meeting advised the deans to think about admitting students to the university through a single standardized test in the future like the universities in the rich world to save time, labor and money. However, the university authorities changed this decision in the last meeting. In the entrance examination of the new academic year, a student has the opportunity to participate in the examination in all three units.
