Dhaka has topped air pollution for the fifth consecutive day

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has been at the top in air pollution for the fifth consecutive day. Dhaka tops the Air Quality Index (AQI) with a score of 276.

• This information is known from the list of cities with polluted air at 10:18 am today Wednesday (January 25) of the air quality monitoring company IQ Air.
  Pakistan's Karachi is in the second position with a score of 190. In third place is Baghdad, Iraq, and the city has a score of 186. India's Kolkata and Mumbai are at the fourth and fifth positions. The scores of the two cities are 178 and 177 respectively. With a score of 176, Nepal's Kathmandu is in sixth place and Pakistan's Lahore is seventh with a score of 174.

Switzerland-based air quality monitoring organization IQ Air has been publishing this list of cities with polluted air. An AQI score based on daily air quality gives an accurate idea of how clean or polluted the air is in a particular city.

A score between 101-200 on this air measurement index is considered unhealthy. Zero to 50 is good, 51-100 is considered fair. AQI levels between 101-150 are cautionary, 201-300 are considered very unhealthy. And scores above 301 are considered dangerous.
