3 Rohingya detained along with 40 thousand Yabas
RAB-15 arrested 40 thousand pieces of Yaba three Rohingyas from Khuniapalong area of Ramu Upazila of Cox's Bazar. On Sunday (February 5) morning, Pechardwip Karachipara Ghat was raided and they were arrested along with these Yabas.

The arrested are - Abul Hasim (32), son of Imam Hussain of Kutupalong Camp-3, Block-C-32, Abu Chayed (48), son of deceased Kashim of Kutupalong, Camp-5, Block-B-4, Block A-1 of the same camp. Mubarak's son Abdul Ghani (37).
40 thousand pieces Yaba
- Abu Salam Chowdhury said, based on secret information, some drug traffickers are coming from the Myanmar border with fishing boats towards Karachipara Ghat of Cox's Bazar. On receiving the news, raids were conducted in front of Pechardwip Karachipara ghat of Ramur Khuniapalong Union and three drug dealers were arrested. After searching, 40 thousand pieces of Yaba were recovered.
He also said that during the initial interrogation, the arrested said that for a long time, they bought Yaba from the Myanmar border and kept the drugs in their possession for the purpose of selling them in different places. This official of RAB said that the necessary legal action against them including the recovered drugs is in process.
