Risky markets will be dealt with quickly
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the City Corporation will take measures to ensure a modern and safe market. Risky markets in different areas of the capital will be identified. Quick action will be taken against these markets.
He said these things while talking to reporters after visiting Bangabazar on Wednesday (April 5) afternoon.
The Home Minister said that the City Corporation will take a logical decision regarding the rehabilitation of the affected traders in Bangabazar. An investigation committee has been constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs to verify the fire. From them it will be known whether someone was negligent in the fire or what we should do next.
Expressing sympathy, the minister said, targeting the upcoming Eid, they were collecting money from friends and relatives. But everything was destroyed in a terrible fire.
