Sourav Ganguly invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the opening ceremony of India-Bangladesh first day-night Test match at Eden Gardens. Sourav Ganguly met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today (February 24) morning. Sourav was accompanied by his wife Donna Ganguly during the courtesy call. Apart from this, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon was also present.
Earlier on Thursday, Sourav Ganguly came to Dhaka to attend the opening ceremony of 'DNCC Mayor's Cup-2023' season-2 organized by Dhaka North City Corporation and supervised by TEM Sports.
Later that night, Sourav and his wife Donna Ganguly were entertained for dinner at the residence of long time friend Iftikhar Rahman Mithur Gulshan. Naimur Rahman Durjoy, Atahar Ali and a part of former cricketers of Bangladesh were present in that dinner.
After meeting the Prime Minister today, Sourav had lunch at 'Fat Emperor' restaurant in Gulshan. Shortly after this, the legend left for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
