Transfer of 7 officials of Election Commission
Seven officials of the Election Commission (EC) have been transferred. They were transferred through two separate notifications and office orders.
The notification and office order issued on Wednesday (April 5) was signed by Assistant Secretary of Manpower Management Branch of EC Mohammad Shahidur Rahman.
According to the notification, Mohammad Monir Hossain, deputy secretary of the budget sub-branch of Election Commission Secretariat, has been transferred as senior district election officer of Rangamati, and Mohammad Nurul Alam, senior district election officer of Barisal district, has been transferred as deputy secretary of human resource development and welfare sub-branch of Election Commission Secretariat.
In another notification, it is said that Noor Nahar Islam, the Assistant Secretary of Disciplinary Branch of the Election Commission Secretariat, has been transferred as the Assistant Director of the Election Training Institute and Mohammad Al-Mamun, the Assistant Director of the Election Training Institute, has been transferred as the Assistant Secretary of the Disciplinary Branch.
In addition to this, Deputy Secretary of the Human Resource Development and Welfare Division of the Election Commission Secretariat. Moin Uddin Khan as Deputy Secretary of Budget Branch of the Secretariat, EC Deputy Secretary Dewan Md. Sarwar Jahan as the Deputy Secretary of Discipline and Appeal Branch of the Commission and the Deputy Secretary of Discipline and Appeal Branch of the Secretariat. Rafiqul Islam has been transferred as Deputy Secretary of Election Commission Secretariat.
These three were transferred in two separate office orders.
