Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces are playing an important role in maintaining law and order and public security, President said. Abdul Hamid.

He said, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces are the largest disciplined and people-oriented forces in the country. Since its establishment in 1948, Ansar Bahini has played an important role in all the needs of the country, including the great language movement, the liberation war.

He said these things in a speech given on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary and 43rd National Assembly of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force on Sunday (February 12).

The President said that Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces are the largest disciplined and people-oriented forces in the country. I pay my deepest respect to the heroic Ansar members who sacrificed their lives for the protection of law and order at various times including the Great War of Liberation.

He said that Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces are playing an important role in maintaining law and order and public safety in the country. In addition to performing duties with the traffic police to resolve traffic jams, the members of this force are diligently performing their duties in providing security in various important public and private establishments and projects. Apart from this, the members of this force bravely performed their duties in dealing with various natural and man-made disasters.

Abdul Hamid said that in addition to regular training, this army is giving free technical training to youth and women in various professions. Through this, it is working to create skilled human resources and create opportunities for self-employment.
