Prime Minister inaugurated Agricultural Technology Center in Gazipur
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Bangabandhu-Pierre Trudeau Agricultural Technology Center and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute in Gazipur.
He inaugurated this center on Thursday (February 23) around 12 noon. Earlier, the Prime Minister reached Gazipur to attend the 50th anniversary celebrations of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) around 11:00 am.
After the inauguration, he visited the innovations of the Bangabandhu-Pierre Trudeau Agricultural Technology Centre.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will unveil five publications of Bangladesh Rice Research Institute and Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council in the second phase of the program.
Minister of Agriculture will preside over the event. Abdur Razzaq. The executive director of Canada's Global Institute of Food Security (CEU) will be present as a special guest. Stevin Webb, director general of the International Rice Research Institute of the Philippines. Dr. Jain Balii, Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council. Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiar and Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Wahida Akhter.
