No Compromise With Communalism: kader
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said that there is no compromise here, promising to uproot the poisonous tree of communalism from Bangladesh.
He said this at a short rally before the Mangal Shobhayatra on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh celebrations at Bahadur Shah Park in the capital on Friday (April 14) morning.
Obaidul Quader said, the poisonous tree of communalism which has spread its branches in Bangladesh under the leadership of BNP, we have to take an oath today under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter, we will uproot that poisonous tree of communalism. Let this be today's pledge. There is no compromise here.
Quader said, those who do not believe in Pahela Baisakh today are communal. Their theory is communalism, their theory is binationalism, they are against the spirit of liberation war. Regarding Pahela Baishakh, Awami League General Secretary said, today is a day to explore our self-identity on the one hand, and a day to spread the message of non-communalism on the other hand.
He said, Awami League was there before, still is and will be with the history and tradition of Bengal. It does not matter which party did it or not. As long as there is Awami League, Pahela Baisakh will be celebrated in this country. On the occasion of Pahela Boishakh celebration, Obaidul Quader commented that there is a wave of renaissance all over Bangladesh today and said that the address of our emotions and existence is Pohela Boishakh
The Awami League general secretary also commented that the transactions and trade that will take place throughout the country during these two festivals, New Year and upcoming Eid, will enrich the country's economy. The colorful New Year procession started from Bahadur Shah Park in the capital and ended at Bangabandhu Avenue.
