Grameenphone network disaster fiber cable severed
Grameenphone service is disrupted due to network outage. On Thursday (February 23) at noon, customers were in trouble. Grameenphone has expressed regret for this temporary inconvenience.
Grameenphone, the country's mobile phone network operator, has experienced a network disaster. Customers said that this disaster was seen from 11:30 am on Thursday.
In a notice on social media, Grameenphone wrote, "We are deeply sorry for the temporary difficulty in making calls due to the fiber optic cable being severed. Our team is working with utmost importance to solve the problem quickly.
An official of Grameenphone said that this complaint came suddenly this morning. Later it was found that this network disaster occurred due to fiber cable cut at 4 different places in Tangail and Sirajganj at the same time.
An official of a government bank in Bogra said that since 11:30 in the morning, he is not getting the Grameenphone network. After talking to other bank officials and customers there, it was found that none of them who use Grameenphone were getting the network at that time.
