First, Donald Lu attended a dinner at the invitation of Peter Haas, the US ambassador to Bangladesh in Gulshan.
It should be noted that Lu came to Dhaka last Saturday (January 14). In this two-day visit, the US Assistant Secretary of State met with several senior officials of the state, apart from the Law Minister, Interior Minister, Foreign Minister and representatives of civil society.

During his visit, priority issues such as energy, trade, security cooperation, religious freedom, labor and human rights, Indo-Pacific strategy and lifting of sanctions on RAB prevailed.
