43 arrested in anti-drug operation in the capital

43 people have been arrested in various areas of the capital on charges of selling and consuming drugs. Various Crime and Intelligence Divisions of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted raids in various police station areas of the capital yesterday from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday.

During the arrest, 799 pieces of yaba, 48 grams of heroin, 52 kg of 200 grams of ganja and 4750 ml of Desimad were recovered from them.

31 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been filed against the arrested in the concerned upazila.
