The airport authority said that an initiative has been taken to install runway central line lights at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. It will increase the capacity in flight management. For this, the runway will be closed from 2 pm to 7 am from February 2 to April 3.

A notice has been issued in this regard by the ATM department of the airport. There may be flight pressure before and after light replacement i.e. 7 am to 11:30 am and 10 pm to 2 am. The airport authority has taken plans for flight management and other matters in coordination with the related government and private institutions including the airport traffic department to make the journey of the passengers smooth and uninterrupted. It will be completed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka within three months. Its equipment has also arrived. At the same time, the lighting system is also being developed.
