Finance ministers and central bank governors from around the world came to Washington at this time. A delegation led by the Central Bank Governor including the Finance Secretary has also arrived from Bangladesh. On the first day, the Governor of Bangladesh Bank discussed the current situation of the economy in a meeting with the IMF and the World Bank.
 
Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rauf Talukder said, 'We are working with 500 million dollars. It is in the final stage. We will talk about that. Once that is done, we hope to get it before June 30.
 


The Governor hopes that the consumers of Bangladesh will soon get the benefit of lower prices of goods around the world. Governor Abdur Rauf Talukder said, it will take some time. Consumers are expected to benefit when the rupee and dollar stabilize.
