After the update across the country, the total number of voters stood at 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 5. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal released the final voter list in front of the election building on Thursday (March 12th).

The secretary said,

•  At present, the total number of voters in the country is 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 5. Of these, the male voters are 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 12. Women voters are 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 20 and third gender voters are 5.
  Until March 2, 2022, the total voters were 1 crore 12 lakh 5 thousand 5. Of these, the male voters are 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 523. Women voters are 1 crore 5 lakh 5 thousand 20 and 3 of the third gender.
  This time the voter growth rate is 5.7 percent. The total voter turnout has increased to 1 lakh 5 thousand 5.
  Before the publication of the voter list, the CEC, other commissioners and EC officers and employees organized a rally on the occasion of Voter Day. From the front of the election building, the PSP intersection, the BNP market turned around and ended at the election building.

The EC completed the data collection and registration work in four steps from May 25 to November 25 last year. The draft list of updates is published in accordance with the previously announced time (January 5 this year). It has been publicly dragged in various populated places, so that if anyone has any mistakes, you can get the opportunity to correct the application. The last time to apply for a claim, objection or amendment is January 5. That is, the time for the claim, objection or amendment was 7 days. The final list of updated list was released on Thursday after the revision authority settled the application.
