Meanwhile, VIP factory official Ashish Kumar Karmakar claimed that the fire caused a loss of Tk 150 crore.

Executive Director of EPZ Mahbub Ahmed Siddique said that the fire is not fully extinguished but is now under control. 11 units of fire service are still working. He also confirmed that no one was injured in the fire.
