Shahjalal's third terminal to be commissioned in October: State Minister

The state minister said that we have taken forward the work of the third terminal of Shahjalal International Airport despite the epidemic of coronavirus. Already 60 percent work has been completed. The main infrastructure work will be completed by October this year.
Referring to the silent revolution in the country's aviation sector. Mahbub Ali said that the terminal construction is going on at Sylhet International Airport. Along with runway extension of Cox's Bazar airport, development work is going on at Chittagong, Syedpur and Jessore airports. Apart from this, new aircraft are being added to the fleet.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Secretary Mokammel Hossain, Additional Secretary (Planning) Sukesh Kumar Sarkar, Civil Aviation Authority (BABICHAK) Chief Engineer Abdul Malek and senior officials of Aviation and BABICHAK were present in the press conference.
