Flightaware.com said that more than 1,200 flights have been canceled till yesterday. More than 17 thousand flights left late.
Snowfall on Friday (February 24) brought the threat of rain and flooding to California. Several major roads have also been closed.

Power lines down due to heavy snowfall. More than 100,000 people are without power in California. Heavy snow has also fallen in the state of Oregon.
The country's National Weather Service has issued a warning that snow will continue to fall in California on Saturday (February 25). Up to five feet of snow is expected in mountainous areas of the Sierra Nevada and southern California.
The authorities are not able to say when the roads closed due to snowfall will be passable. However, it is expected that the electricity connection will be operational by Sunday (February 26).
