- It is known that hospital owner and doctor Bikash Hazra, his wife doctor Prema Hazra and attendant Tara Devi are among the dead. Apart from this, the body of another person named Sohan Khanari has been identified. In all, five people including a doctor couple have died. One of their pet dogs was also burnt to death in the fire. Some people were also injured in this incident. According to police, the cause of death was asphyxiation after the fire.
According to the country's police, the hospital suddenly caught fire on Friday night. That doctor couple was in charge of a part of the hospital. The police and fire personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after several hours. According to the police, the death occurred due to breathing problems after the fire.

Dhanbad Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Premkumar Tiwari told Indian news agency PTI that the incident is believed to have taken place due to the rapid spread of the fire in the store room. I got the news that one person got sick in this incident. Four bodies have been identified. The identity of the remaining one is yet to be known.
