Online gambling addict, body found in Dhanmondi lake

The body of a motorist named Shaheen Alam was recovered from Dhanmondi Lake No. 15 in the capital. Dhanmondi police station recovered his body from the spot on Saturday morning.

Dhanmondi police station officer-in-charge (OC) Ikram Ali Mia confirmed the matter. He said, we got the news and went to the spot and recovered his body. Later, the body was recovered and sent to DMK morgue for post-mortem.

He also said, initially speaking to the family, we came to know that he used to gamble online and do drugs. Initially, the reason behind his death was not known. The matter will be known after the autopsy.
