Research can bring us success: Prime Minister
Mentioning that science and research are very important for the nation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that research can bring success, it is now proven. Due to research, we have succeeded in food production.
He said this at the Bangabandhu Science and Technology Fellowship held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Thursday (March 2).
The Prime Minister said that the Awami League government has come to power and established 12 science and technology universities in the country. Not only that, we have made arrangements that they can play a role in the development of the country by collecting knowledge from abroad.
"We are promoting Bangladesh to a developing country," she said. If you stop here, it will not work. The new generation has to take this progress of Bangladesh.
Sheikh Hasina said, "We will not fall behind in any way, we will not get a hand to anyone." The country has to move forward with the developed world.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister handed over the check of the Bangabandhu Science and Technology Fellowship, NST Fellowship and five special research grants to 5 people from different universities and research institutes.
