Militant snatching - seeing deficit in combination: RAB DG
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General (DG) M Khurshid Hossain said there was a lack of coordination in connection with the death sentence of two militants from the court premises. If other agencies coordinated with the police, they might not have escaped.
He said this to journalists after paying homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 12 in the capital on Thursday (March 2).
The RAB Director General said that because of the lack of coordination, the way people were supposed to be there or when they left, there was a shortage of information that was supposed to be reported. That is why this has happened.
"I believe you can be sure that we are ready to face any challenges," he said. We want to continue the development of our country.
Senior RAB officials were present.
On November 27 last year, four militants who were on the motorcycle from the main gate of the Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court sprayed with the police in the face of the police, and Faisal Arefin Dipan, a publisher of Jagriti Pubhan, was killed in the murder case.
The accused are Mainul Hasan Shamim of Madhabpur in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj and Abu Siddique Sohail alias Shakib of Veteshwar village of Lalmonirhat. Both are known to be members of the militant organization Ansar al -Islam.
