Raising the question of reconciliation with Jamaat-Hefazat is not right: Information Minister

Information Minister Hasan Mahmud said that it is wrong to question Awami League's agreement with Jamaat-e-Islami and Hefazat. He said these things in response to a question from journalists at Rajshahi Circuit House premises on Friday (January 13) morning.

Information Minister said, Awami League is a symbol of non-communal and liberation war spirit in Bangladesh. For that purpose, the work of building the country is going on.

Regarding BNP's movement, the minister said, BNP is also quacking like a duck before laying eggs.

Regarding the increase in electricity prices, the information minister said that electricity prices have not been increased in our country at the same rate as they are increasing all over the world.

Later, the minister attended the departmental representative meeting at Rajshahi Medical College Auditorium.
