"Rabindranath" returned to TSC injured

Earlier on February 14, a group of students of Dhaka University's Faculty of Fine Arts installed the sculpture to protest against censorship and all kinds of oppression on free thought, creativity and expression of freedom of expression in the country.
After recovering the sculpture in two pieces from the nearby Suhrawardy Udyan on Friday afternoon, the art students put it together on Saturday.

This time the students have hung two banners on both sides of the sculpture. One banner read, 'Repeal the Digital Security Act and stop all forms of censorship'. Another banner reads, 'I forget you under the guise of your worship'.
A group of students installed the sculpture of poet Rabindranath Tagore at the entrance next to the TSC of the book fair on Tuesday to protest the recent incidents of 'censorship and oppression' in Bangladesh. Students of Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University built this sculpture with the help of student union.
The sculpture presents Kabiguru in a different form; His mouth is taped, the poetry book Gitanjali in his hand has a nail stuck in it, it is bloody.
The sculpture has not been seen since Thursday morning, two days after its installation. Later, the students hoisted a banner titled 'Rabindranath is missing!'
