Passenger pressure has increased on Metrorail during the holidays
Two weeks have passed since the launch of the dream metro rail, but people's interest has not decreased at all. As it is a weekend compared to other days, metro rail has seen increased passenger pressure.
On Friday (January 13) on the ground, it was seen that passengers are crowding at Agargaon station of Metrorail since morning. A lot of people come to ride the metro rail during weekends and Ijtema. Most came to visit though.
Talked to a passenger named Imdadul Haque. He said that although the metro rail has been launched, it has not been busy for a long time. So I came today. Feels pretty good.
Saiful Islam, who came to travel by Metrorail from Gabtali, said that he could not ride the previous time because of the crowd. Today is an office holiday, so I came to ride the metro rail.
Khalekuzzaman, who came with his family, did not expect such a crowd. He said, I thought the pressure might have reduced in the metro rail. Now I see it is the same as before. We don't even get a day off except Friday.

Another passenger named Mohammad Zubair said, came to the station and saw a large crowd of people. What else to do, waiting. I hope I can catch the train.
Officials on duty at the station said that passenger pressure has increased on Friday and Ijtema. But they are trying to provide maximum service.
The metro rail which started from Diabari to Agargaon in Uttara will also stop at Pallabi station from January 25. Currently, this newly launched metro rail does not stop at any station. Besides, from January 25, instead of 8 am, the metro rail will run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. But the gate will open from 8 am and close at 12 pm.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the much-desired metro rail on December 28. In the first phase, metro rail has been launched from Diabari to Agargaon in Uttara. The metro rail is scheduled to be operational up to Motijheel by December this year. And by 2025, the metro rail will reach Kamalapur.
