He said that Sanjida Chowdhury Antara (Vice-President, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islami University Branch), Tabassum Islam (Activist, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islami University Branch), Halima Khatun were accused of being involved in anti-organizational, anti-discipline, criminal and degrading activities. Urmi (activist, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islami University Branch), Israt Jahan Mim (activist, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islami University Branch) and Moabiya Jahan (activist, Bangladesh Chhatra League, Islami University Branch) were expelled from Bangladesh Chhatra League.
In this context, General Secretary of EB Branch Chhatra League Nasim Ahmed Joy told RisingBD that this is the decision of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Chhatra League. We have been saying since the beginning that there is no place for criminals in BCL. Following that, we gave the investigation report. Bangladesh Chhatra League took this decision in view of the investigation report.
The High Court has ordered the temporary expulsion of five students for their involvement in torture incidents.
