Nightingale-Fakirapool road closed again

Dhaka: Traffic is off from Fakirapool intersection to Kakrail Nightingale intersection on the capital's busiest VIP road due to BNP's mass stand. As a result, heavy traffic has been created on all the roads and alleys in this area.

On Wednesday (January 11) from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the surface area can be seen - Daily Bangla to Fakirapool, Arambagh to Fakirapool, Zeropoint to Vijaynagar road traffic jam.

The activists gathered in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan from 9 am. As the day progressed, first the traffic on one side of the road turned off. Then at around 12 o'clock, BNP leaders and activists took positions off both sides of the road. Still, it takes a long time to cross even if one or two cars come from the north side of the road.

BNP Vice Chairman Dr. yesterday evening. AZM Zahid Hossain held a meeting with DMP Commissioner Khandaker Golam Farooq. After this meeting, the DMP Commissioner told reporters - BNP leaders have applied for permission to hold mass. I told them that Wednesday is the office day, thousands of people will be traveling to the office, so that there is no problem in their movement, you will keep the movement of vehicles on the sidewalks. However, it was noticed on the ground that the BNP leaders and activists have taken over the entire road by disobeying the request of the police commissioner.
