This information emerged from the passport index of 199 countries of the world published by the UK-based consulting company Hanley and Partners on Tuesday, January 10. According to the institute's 2023 index, Libya and Kosovo are joint 101st with Bangladesh. Bangladesh passport can travel to 41 countries of the world on arrival visa.
Meanwhile, among South Asian countries, Bhutan's position is 90th, Nepal's 103rd, Pakistan's 106th and Afghanistan's position is 109th. Within this, Maldives has the strongest position. Citizens of the country can travel to 89 countries in the 61st position visa-free or on-arrival visa.
Apart from this, neighboring country India ranks 85th in the index. Citizens of the country can visit 59 countries of the world without a visa or on arrival visa. At the same time, Iran, which has been affected by Western sanctions, is in the 99th position in the index, while Lebanon, Sri Lanka and Sudan are jointly in the 100th position.
Like last year, Japan is at the top position in the index. Citizens of the country can travel to 193 destinations around the world without a visa. Then Singapore and South Korea are joint 2nd. Passport holders of these two countries can enter 192 countries without a visa or on-arrival visa.

The commission ranked Germany and Spain joint 3rd. The passport holders of these two countries can travel to 190 countries of the world without visa. War-torn Afghanistan is at the very bottom of the index. The country's position is 109th. And Iraq is 108th, Syria 107th and Yemen 105th.
The United Kingdom-based 'Hanley and Partners' has been publishing rankings on how strong the passport of any country in the world is for about 18 years. The organization has been creating this index based on the information that one can only travel to the country without a visa without a passport.
