Nationwide BNP's position in 650 places today
BNP will hold a sit-in program for two hours today at the police stations and upazila levels of all the metropolitan cities of the country. This program will be held at a total of 650 places. In this, activists will stay at 50 organizational police stations in Dhaka city from 2 pm to 4 pm. It will be outside Dhaka from 3 pm to 5 pm
BNP central office sources said that this program will be held simultaneously in 128 organizational police stations of 13 cities including Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet and 5500 upazilas in about 600 places. BNP central executive committee members, former parliamentarians of the party and top leaders of the district will participate in it. A list has already been prepared dividing the responsibilities of the leaders.

This information was informed in a circular signed by Taiful Islam Tipu, Joint Office Secretary of BNP on Friday (April 7).
The notification signed by Taiful Islam Tipu, Central Deputy Secretary of BNP informed that the leaders of the National Executive Committee will fully cooperate and participate in the programs of their respective upazilas/ police stations and unions. All district, metropolitan, upazila, thana and municipal units of BNP and its affiliates and affiliated organizations have been called upon to strengthen preparatory meetings, workshops, and mass communication to make the union level program a success. The leaders and activists of the municipal unit have been asked to actively participate in the upazila program.
Meanwhile, the Liberal Democratic Party-LDP will hold a sit-in program in front of the party office at Panthpath at 3 pm, the Gano Forum and People's Party at Arambagh at 4 pm, and the Samana Peshajejevi Gontantrik Jot at 11 am in front of the National Press Club. Before this, on Saturday, like-minded parties and alliances including BNP held simultaneous sit-in programs for two hours from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in all capital cities and district headquarters. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced these programs at an iftar party at Iskatan in the capital on March 24, the first of Ramadan.
