Indian Idol Everything Premade : Mini

After hosting six consecutive seasons of Indian Idol, anchor Mini Mathur was no longer seen in that role. Of course, Mini himself told the reason. In his words, 'Indian Idol is all pre-made. Its USP is now lost. So I voluntarily moved from here.'

Mini claims that earlier the show used to depend on the performance of the participants, but now it doesn't happen anymore. Producers' needs have changed. Now the creation of stories or moments has become major. Not only that, he also leaked some of the secret information inside. What happens in the name of reality show, he has also brought before everyone.

Mini has been involved with Indian Idol since its inception. Not only the conductor, he had developed a kind of spiritual relationship with this show. He had such a good rapport with the participants that he even invited many of them to his home. Apart from this, Mini used to indulge in rumors from chatting with everyone on the set.

Recently, Minnie said in a tone of regret on the famous Cyrus Brocher podcast on MTV, 'Not only in front of the camera, but also off camera, I used to have a smile on my face all the time. I have done something for almost everyone involved with the show. But as time goes by, the reality of Indian Idol begins to fade away. So I could not continue working.'

He said, 'There was no reality alive in this noise. Relatives of the participants were informed in advance that they would come on stage. Even so, they were told to act surprised to see the people of the house.'

While sharing some experiences associated with the show, he further said, 'One day the producer came and said, Dharmendra and Hema Malini are coming; We have to create moments with them.'

Even after such instructions, Minnie wanted to work on her own, but it was no longer possible. Because he was forced to do such work. At one stage he feels that he cannot do this work only for money. It is no longer the previous show where he has worked. So he decided to come out and came out.

After hosting various MTV reality shows, 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', the first host of 'Indian Idol' was never seen again on his beloved talent hunt show. Mini recently acted in the Amazon Prime video series 'Mind the Malhotras'.
