Jessore is shivering at 7.8 degrees, cold current in 21 districts

Cold weather is going on all over the country including the capital Dhaka. People's lives disrupted by severe cold. The people of border district Jessore faced the worst cold. Jessore recorded the lowest temperature in the country today (Sunday). The lowest temperature of the country was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius in this district this morning, said the Meteorological Department.

Jessore is shivering at 7.8 degrees, cold current in 21 districts

On Sunday (January 8) morning, the minimum temperature of the country dropped to 7.8 degrees Celsius. Meteorological Department recorded this temperature in Jessore and Chuadanga in the morning. This is the lowest temperature of the current cold season.

The feeling of severe winter all over the country. It has an impact on public life. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that this situation may continue for the next few days.

For the past few days, thick fog has been falling in most parts of the country including Dhaka. So it does not meet the sun. The difference between day and night temperature decreases. Due to northerly wind, Konkan is cold. In the meantime, the temperature has dropped again and the cold current has started. Meteorologists have predicted the temperature to drop like this.

In the last four-five days, the sun was seen in Dhaka only on Friday afternoon. The minimum temperature in Dhaka was 12.3 degrees Celsius early on Sunday morning, which was 11.5 degrees Celsius a day earlier.

Normal life is disrupted due to severe winter. Dense fog disrupts traffic. An accident is happening. Various diseases are giving notice.

Apart from 11 districts of the country, mild cold current was blowing over Rajshahi division on Saturday.

Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid said that mild to moderate cold current is flowing over Tangail, Faridpur, Manikganj, Jessore, Chuadanga, Satkhira and Kushtia districts along with Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions on Sunday and it may continue.

The Meteorological Department said that there was cold current in Madaripur, Kishoreganj and Barisal districts yesterday but it cleared on Sunday.

Highlighting the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Sunday, Bazlur Rashid said that the weather in the entire country may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies. Moderate to dense fog is likely to fall over the country from midnight to morning and it may continue till afternoon at some parts of the country.

During this time, the night temperature may remain almost unchanged across the country and the day temperature may increase slightly, he said, due to the decrease in day and night temperature difference, there may be a feeling of moderate to severe winter across the country.

Meteorologist Bajlur Rashid also said that the night temperature may decrease slightly in the next three days.
